GHG Platform India
An Indian Civil Society Initiative to Understand India’s GHG Emission Estimates. The Platform provides an independent estimation and analysis of India’s Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions across key sectors, namely, Energy, Industry, AFOLU (Agriculture, Forest and Other Land Use) and Waste.
Energy Transition for India – A Business Case
Two projects are being implemented to make a business case for energy transition to India. One is on Stranded Assets in the Coal-Fired Power Generation Sector and the second is on the impact of Water Scarcity on Coal-Fired Power Plants.
CCA RAI-II
Vasudha Foundation is undertaking a project supported by Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), for the state of Punjab. This is a part of a bigger project being implemented by GIZ under the bilateral cooperation of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), India titled ‘Climate Change and Adaptation in Rural Areas of India Phase – II (CCA RAI-II)’.
Creation of a Pan-India Platform to Strengthen Action on Climate, Environment and Development
With support from Oak Foundation, this initiative is for Integrating Climate Change and Environment into Development and bringing together common voices in India, through a Pan-India Platform, with the intent to strengthen action on climate, environment, and development.
