INDIAN CIVIL SOCIETY PERSPECTIVE ON WORLD BANK ENERGY STRATEGY
The Energy for Our Common Future project brings together responses and alternative approaches to the World Bank energy strategy. This Indian perspective distils the position of 30 civil society organizations that came from across India to meet in New Delhi on 28 July 2010. It highlights the energy needs of the poor and gives special regard to potential for the World Bank Group to lead the private sector toward renewable energy.
